Karate Australia (The Australian Karate Federation) is the national governing body of karate in Australia recognised and endorsed by the federal government, the Australian Olympic Committee and the Australian Sports Commission.
Karate Australia is a member of the World Karate Federation (WKF) and is recognised by the International Olympic Committee as representing the sport of Karate.
Karate Australia is the Australian Government recognised body to conduct coaching and officiating accreditation courses for karate.
Karate Tasmania (AKF Tasmania) is the representative of the national body of the Australian Karate Federation for the state of Tasmania and is recognized by the state government.
Karate Tasmania is renowned for hosting prestigious tournaments and for producing high quality competitions & competitors at state, national and open levels.
At Karate Tasmania, our goal is to:
